The use of 3-dimensional computer simulation in shoulder instability surgery

The following presentation demonstrates a technique that is used by our practice to evaluate the angle of engagement of the Hill Sachs lesion in patients with shoulder dislocations. If the angle of engagement is a physiologic position of the arm - a position that the patient can actually bring his shoulder - then re-implassage of the Hill Sachs lesion is performed or even bone grafting of the glenoid and/or Hill Sachs lesion.
